mistakes are lessons learned
Okay so i am gonna throw my thoughts out here.
Okay last summer i got into some trouble. I went to jail and now have a criminal record for petty larceny. It sucks to think i have a record but it is done and there is nothing i can do to change it. I have learned from this in so many ways.
The reason i decided to write this post it because recently i got denied a job. It hurts to know that this will be what it is like. I will be passed up for jobs all the time because of my record and that hurts.
It is sad people always say learn from your mistakes, grow from them. But, if no one will give me a chance how will i grow. I know i messed up and it was wrong. But, what’s done is done. I would go back and change it if i could but that’s not how life works.
All i need is chance to prove i have changed. All i am asking is for someone to give me chance. I just need one person to believe in the fact i am a good person who made a mistake. I hate what i did and i hurt people and i hate that. I wish i could take it back with everything that i am. All i can do now is move forward and try my hardest to be the person my family raised me to be.
I will one day be able to put this behind me and make my family proud!
So like the title states Mistakes are lessons learned!
